Problem
Create a way to commuicate to the general public the connection between wildfires and climate change.

Solution
Our main objective was to inform the general public of the advantages of prescribed burns, and how to distinguish the differences between an intentional burn versus an uncontrolled wildfire. We communicated this in different formats such as iconography, vector graphics, infographics, and digital storytelling. My personal designs included a PSA style poster informing the public that not all fire/smoke is bad. It was important to raise awareness without glamorizing or extenuating fire/flames as a way of capturing the audience's attention. The poster was designed in a way that would allow for digital dissection, and versatility for all digital assets within the design to be used for educational content. The patch was intended for embroidery for all Ecological Reserve members, or to be used in a print or presentation setting.
